Twine and Fabric Decor Balls -

What do you do with a bag of old tennis balls you find in your garage while doing your Spring Cleaning?

Well.....Just take a look!!!

First: Brush off the tennis balls a bit ...

Second: Pull out your hot glue gun and a spool of twine .... and start wrapping.
Glue as you wrap, making sure that each row of the twine is placed closely to the row glued before it. This insures that the twine covers the bright color of the ball :-)

Third: Tear some fabric in to 1 inch wide strips .... and again ... start wrapping. Use very little glue ... just enough to hold the ends in place. Don't wrap fabric strips around the ball like you did with twine - wrap in an "asterisk" pattern - (look closely at the picture to see how the completed wrapping looks different.)

Four: Place them in a container - step back - and admire just how FABULOUS they look!!
This project was so-s00 easy ... I had all the supplies on hand, (Tennis Balls, Twine, Fabric and Glue Gun) and it took very little time from start to finish!!

From Burlap Wreath to Burlap Nest

Remember the Burlap Wreath I had on my door for St. Patty's day? Well it came down for Spring but I just couldn't bring myself to put it away, cause I love it so-soo much. So what should I do ... what else - make one of those popular bird nests!!!

I took a cake stand, placed the wreath on top, filled in the center with an old grapevine wreath that I found in my crafts stash along with Spanish moss filler. I added plastic eggs that I had painted and splattered ... and ...
It looks so Fabulous!!! (Notice ... I just kept the original the bow - too easy and too Fabulous!!!)
