Time to Do Some Stash-Busting

Stash-Busting you ask?? Yes... time for me to BUST through all the projects that I have started and sat aside, only to start another project!!! Robin at the blog The T-Shirt Diaries is sponsoring a September Stash-Busting event to encourage and motivate us to get moving and complete all those unfinished projects. The goal ... I MUST bust through what I have WITHOUT making any new purchases!!!! Those of you who know me know that my favorite Saturday hang-out is the thrift store. Well ... not during the month of September!!! And all those Halloween projects calling my name - not until October!!! Join me throughout the month of September as I Bust my Stash. :-)

Cute (??) Apothocary :-)

Recently while on vacation in Utah I was introduced to SAVERS - a FABULOUS thrift store. (Seriously - I could have gone in there everyday while on vacation it's such a great store!!) On one of my trips to Savers I found this large jar. It had a very plain brown wood lid. I brought it home, added a finial, spray painted it white, and distressed it a little bit. I filled it with all my little soaps I collect when I travel. Isn't it Fabulous?!?! I put all my little hotel shampoos and lotions in another jar I had and put them on display in my bathroom. So-So cute don't you think??

Clip-On Flower Obsession

Have you seen those cute clip on flowers that everyone is wearing? I bought one while we were on vacation in Utah and now have added ten (10) more to my "collection." (LOL) They are so easy to make and so-so fun to wear. You can clip them to your clothes, in your hair, on your shoes or your purse .... I wore one everyday to work last week, and I already know which one I am wearing tomorrow. I know .... I'm obsessed!!!
